How to Get to SMX
NAIA – Urban Transportation to SMX Convention Center
The SMX Convention Center is approximately 15–30 minutes from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), depending on traffic.
NAIA has four passenger terminals (T1, T2, T3, and T4) that serve different international and domestic carriers.

RecommendedThe most convenient and reliable way to get from NAIA to SMX is through the Grab app (similar to Uber).

Regular Taxi:
- •Metered white and yellow taxis available at terminal arrival areas
- •White taxis are cheaper but may have longer wait times
- •Yellow airport taxis have higher base fare but are regulated by NAIA
Airport Shuttle
NAIA offers a free terminal transfer shuttle for those landing in a terminal different from where their companions or rides are.
Note: There are no direct shuttles from NAIA to SMX. Groups may book private shuttles or vans via travel providers or hotel concierge.
Public Transport
Not RecommendedFor budget travelers, public transport (jeepneys, P2P buses, or UV Express vans) is available but can be challenging for first-time visitors. Most options require multiple transfers and may not stop directly at SMX.
Nearby Hotels
If you're staying within the Mall of Asia Complex (e.g., Conrad Manila, Microtel, Golden Phoenix, TRYP), SMX is walkable or 3–5 minutes by car.
Grab or hotel shuttle services are the most efficient for door-to-door access.
